Class Happenings
Preps have been reflecting on their first
year at school by writing a list of things they have learnt and
experienced. There have been some very interesting and
thoughtful responses.
Grade 1s have been learning about Aboriginal
stories and have had fun creating our own. We have also made our
own dot paintings.
Grade 2s have been exploring the names and
properties of 3D shapes. Some of us have had the chance to build
our own - great fun!
Grade 3s were fascinated by the Great White
Shark DVD and we all learnt a great deal about these amazing
creatures.
Grade 4s have been persisting with completing a
multitude of activities about Life in the Sea.
Grade 5s having practised riding skills for a
few weeks, Grade 5 are now ready to venture on to the road for
more practical training.
Grade 6s as well as continuing with “Earn and
Learn” the Grade 6 children have been preparing “business plans”
for Market Day, where they will set up stalls of all different
types to raise money for the school.
